Any model based upon the 1602/1600/2002 platform. This may included turbo cars, tourings, cabriolets, etc. |

RTL: |
Round taillight cars (see The Spotting Guide); includes all 02s up to 1974 |

STL: |
Square taillight cars (includes 1974 and later model years). |

Right Side: |
The frame of reference is taken from the driver´s perspective. In the USA, we drive from the left side of the car. The passenger side is the right side. |

Touring: |
In the USA, the European reference to a “touring” translates into a station wagon or hatchback. In the case of the BMW O2-series, a Touring is a hatchback design. |
